This health needs assessment highlights multiple and complex priorities for Gippsland’s health system in Victoria, informed both by the community and an advisory panel. It provides health insights for each priority area accompanied by actions.

This report is a summary of a creative participatory workshop in which participants generated ideas for how data could be used in more egalitarian, creative and critical ways to create better futures in which to age.

This Australian Human Rights Commission’s research aimed to contribute to a greater understanding of how negative perceptions of ageing and older adults may be shifted. The research shows that a brief, one-off ageism workshop can be a powerful tool in creating positive changes in attitudes and behaviours towards older people.

This research was commissioned by the Federation of nine Councils on the Ageing (COTA) across Australia – including all eight COTA state and territory organisations and COTA Australia – to understand the views, life experiences and needs of Australians aged 50+.

This qualitative study sought the views of both rural older people and healthcare professionals, to understand health needs, barriers and enablers of accessing health services, with a focus on chronic health conditions.
