International onshore VET graduate outcomes 2019 provides a summary of the outcomes of international students who completed their vocational education and training (VET) qualification in Australia in 2018. These students were surveyed as an additional component to the 2019 National Student Outcomes Survey.

This report provides estimates of the size and nature of the Australian vocational education and training workforce. Data was collected through the 2019 National VET Workforce survey from registered training organisations (RTOs).

This research looks at secondary school students who undertook a VET for Secondary School Students (VfSSS) program in 2011 and investigates whether they are in work and/or further studies five years later (2016), and the extent to which their VfSSS studies are linked to these employment and study destinations.

This publication presents research highlights from the past 25 years of the LSAY program, with a focus on schooling, VET in schools programs, the influences of socioeconomic status and demographics on later opportunities, and pathways taken from school into further education and the workforce.

This guide is designed to help improve understanding of the return on investment (ROI) from technical and vocational education and training (TVET). It also emphasises the importance of ensuring that the foundation of ROI should be closely aligned to the objectives of the TVET system of a country.
