This report summarises a series of analyses conducted by the Social Wellbeing Agency to determine the effectiveness of several responses aiming to reduce the spread of COVID-19. This involved comparing data on COVID-19 policies to reported case rates in New Zealand and 49 similar countries.

This plan features actions to improve employment pathways for women who are marginalised at work, particularly Maori and Pacific women, young and older women, disabled women, women who are former refugees and recent migrants, and women in the LGBTQIA+ community.

The Pacific workforce and the impact of COVID-19
This study investigates the impact of COVID-19 (COVID) on the labour market disparities between Pasifika and New Zealand European (NZ European). The researchers sought to understand whether COVID amplified ethnic disparities in job accession and benefit dependence, job and wage mobility and job separation.
