This report outlines the findings of an independent review of best practice in early childhood intervention (ECI), undertaken as part of the implementation of Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021-2031. It makes recommendations in relation to the aims, form, underpinning principles and content of a best practice framework for the delivery of ECI in Australia.

These fact sheets provide data on the current and projected future prevalence of all forms of dementia, and early onset dementia, across Australia and by state and territory. Without a significant intervention, it is expected that dementia rates will rise substantially between now and 2054.

This study evaluated CSIRO's Total Wellbeing Diet Online program among 24,035 Australian adults over 12 months. Average weight loss was 5.5kg at 12 months, with 52% achieving clinically significant results (≥5% body weight loss). Platform engagement strongly correlated with success. The digital program proved effective for long-term weight management.

This submission argues that a more comprehensive regulatory framework for automated decision-making (ADM) in the public sector is required. It calls for a framework that goes beyond existing administrative law, is not limited to AI-based systems and includes measures for prevention, enforcement and accountability.
