This white paper articulates the current landscape of community pharmacy practice, including its challenges and opportunities, and aims to stimulate constructive discussion. This paper presents a consolidated view of the CSI-CCPP on issues facing community pharmacy practice in Australia and proposes direction to achieve viability and sustainability in contemporary practice.

The Pharmaceutical Society of Australia believes that the matters raised in this paper need immediate intervention, enabled through collaborative efforts from all stakeholders, including practising pharmacists, pharmacy proprietors, professional organisations, as well as Australian and State/Territory Governments.
