Research Summary
Description

This summary synthesises evidence on employment participation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability.  Across the literature, stronger outcomes are associated with services that are Indigenous-led, culturally safe, relational and flexible enough to reflect family, community and cultural realities. Poor outcomes are linked less to individual capability than to systems that are culturally unsafe, rigid or unresponsive. The report focuses on the conditions that make employment, education and training pathways more accessible, trusted and sustainable.

This summary is accompanied by the final report and appendix.
