Description
This evidence snapshot summarises national and international evidence on mechanisms that support the stable funding and resourcing of long-term health and wellbeing strategies. It aims to inform the Tasmania’s preventive health planning by identifying models that enable sustained, coordinated action across sectors.
The evidence review explored how governments can create the financial and institutional conditions needed for prevention strategies to deliver long-term impact. It highlights practical examples of how multi-year funding, shared accountability frameworks and cross-sector partnerships can help align resources, strengthen system resilience, and improve population outcomes.
