Good Sammy Enterprises (GSE) is a not-for-profit social enterprise in Western Australia. GSE is trialling new models of employment support to people with intellectual disability to build their capacity and secure open employment outside GSE. This interim report evaluates the impact, outcomes and effectiveness of the trials.

This report provides a structured approach for governments at all levels to develop and strengthen policies to build age-inclusive cities. It makes recommendations around inclusive urban planning, age-targeted housing solutions, tailored services and job opportunities, producing age-specific data, and sharing good practices through multi-city collaborations.

The report measures social cohesion in New Zealand across five dimensions with Australian comparison: sense of belonging, sense of worth, social inclusion and justice, participation, and acceptance and rejection. It finds that New Zealand’s social cohesion is 8 percentage points lower than in Australia and New Zealand lags on every dimension.

This paper examines democracy as a resilient system, emphasising the role of applied analysis in shaping effective policy and programs, particularly in Australia. It proposes a practical agenda centred on three core strengthening flows of democratic resilience: trusted institutions, credible information and social inclusion.

Developed through a co-design process, the strategy provides a framework for improving the life outcomes for all Autistic people in the years ahead in a way that is meaningful to them.
