An independent assurance review of the Targeted Compliance Framework (TCF) examined the TCF against operational policy, business rules and IT. The review makes a number of findings and recommendations, including some urgent actions and longer-term improvements. It finds that the system needs to be strengthened to ensure it operates as intended.

The COVID Catch-up Plan aimed to improve the health system’s capacity to deliver planned surgeries and address the backlog from the pandemic.
