The critical role of lived experience reporting guidelines to improve research with young disabled people
Social and public health research should involve the people it will affect. This article finds that while engagement with disabled young people in research is getting better, the reporting of their involvement is not. Essential reporting criteria are proposed to promote research quality by fostering accountability and reproducibility.

Disability data measures project
This project seeks to improve disability data collection following the Disability Royal Commission’s call for consistency across surveys and services. Findings suggest that a strong conceptual framework and minimal question set can produce detailed, nationally consistent data. Further consultation, refinement and testing are needed for implementation.

Co-design partnerships: a mutual exchange
The purpose of the project was to create clarity around what is needed for disability representative and carer organisations, disability advocacy organisations and other consumer-led and disability capacity strengthening organisations. To be able to be meaningfully involved in disability, involvement of these organisations is crucial across the research continuum.
