Description
This is the final summary report produced for the Building Back Better – Mental Health Deep Dive project. The Mental Health Deep Dive was a collaborative research project involving Centre for Social Impact team members from the University of Western Australia (UWA), the University of New South Wales (UNSW), and Swinburne University of Technology (Swinburne).
The aims of this project were:
- To understand how to better support mental health and wellbeing frameworks in Australia.
- To understand the complex policy/research and political landscape that surrounds the provision of mental health services.
This report briefly defines key terms and context around mental health and young people in Australia, and then summarises the project findings, with a focus on the final stage of the project – roundtables and discussions with key stakeholders in mental health.
