National Disability Services' State of the disability sector' report for 2022 is based on responses from 364 disability service providers who took part in this national, annual sector survey. The report reveals a difficult operating environment for most providers. However, there are some glimmers of hope, with a cautious expectation of positive change.

These guidelines have been produced as part of the Australian Human Rights Commission’s 'IncludeAbility' project, which is designed to support employers to create meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability.

This study explores how autistic individuals experience workplace social interactions differently by gender. It finds that autistic women may place greater importance on navigating these interactions, highlighting the need for gender-sensitive workplace adjustments.

This resource includes a good practice guide and an action plan which can be used for government, higher education learning institutions, sector agencies, and employers. The report progresses the Australian government’s commitment to develop disability confidence in key professionals.

The Improving Disability Employment Study (IDES) is the first longitudinal survey to investigate perspectives on barriers and facilitators to work for Australians with disability accessing the Disability Employment Services (DES) program. The aim of this paper is to describe the survey development and data collection methods, as well as key learnings to improve future research.
