This report describes early evidence of the impact of a community-led approach from the Stronger Places, Stronger People Initiative, demonstrating that children and families in these communities have improved wellbeing. It shows what government and community partnership looks like in practice. The report highlights that backbone teams provide the essential infrastructure and ways of working that are contributing to Closing the Gap priority reforms and targets and broader Australian Government priority policy initiatives.
