How and why do people comply with protective behaviours during COVID-19? This study adopts a person-centred approach to identify complex patterns of compliance, and holistically examine underlying psychological differences, integrating multiple psychology paradigms and epidemiology.

Mobile phones are changing behaviour, relationships, communication and the dynamics of physical environments. This article aims to determine if 'nomophobia' (the fear of being without one’s mobile phone) can increase the likelihood of problematic dependent, prohibited and dangerous mobile phone use.

Self-control: determinants, life outcomes and intergenerational implications
This paper studies self-control in a nationally representative sample. Using the well-established Tangney scale to measure trait self-control, we find that people's age, as well as the political and economic institutions they are exposed to, has an economically meaningful impact on their level of self-control.
