This inquiry was established to look into the possible impact on children of imprisoned parents in NSW, and the adequacy of policies and services to assist them. In particular, it examined what services are available, how effective they are, and whether improvements could be made.

This research paper analyses existing research on older people, economic and financial abuse. It identifies a gap in the evidence base relating to the perpetration of economic and financial abuse against older people specifically in the context of domestic and family violence.

Illegal distribution of sexual images by adults and minors is an expanding problem. In this research, the authors examine whether messages would dissuade men (18–32 years) from visiting a fake website offering access to free pornography to users who uploaded a sexual image of a woman.

The research in this study underscores the value of promoting young people’s voices in research, policy and practice design. By centring young people’s voices, the findings give rise to important implications for policies and strategies aimed at preventing domestic violence and abuse and for respectful relationships initiatives for young people in Australia.
