This project aimed to assess the potential for pine plantation post-harvest residues to be used to generate energy in a behind-the-meter scheme for a business or community facility in the Alpine Shire.

The Barwon South West Local Coastal Hazard Assessment Phase 1 Project aims to build a detailed picture of existing and future coastal hazards within the region.

The monitoring program aims to establish if the artificial reef is effective in dampening wave energy and accreting sand, which in turn is expected to broaden and stabilise the beach. The program will also monitor the colonisation of marine communities both on the reef and in the surrounding area.

The Surf Coast Shire has developed a Local Food Program which has explored issues and opportunities related to sustainable local food production, distribution and value-adding in the context of climate change.

This project brought together a wide range of stakeholders from across the Colac Otway and Corangamite Shires to develop a map based bio-links strategy which is recognised as a key biodiversity planning tool.
