Australia is home to a number of world-first blockchain applications. Combining blockchain technology with other technologies can add economic value to a range of business sectors. This document outlines a strategy for governments, industry and researchers to capitalise on opportunities and address challenges. It also proposes signposts towards a blockchain-inspired future.

The Australian government welcomes the interim report on the effect of red tape on private education by the Senate Select Committee of Red Tape Committee (the Committee), which was tabled on 29 November 2018. The report makes seven recommendations. This response addresses the recommendations of the Committee.
